Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is hiring for a Donation Associate in Scottsdale, AZ. The role starts at $15.15 per hour and focuses on courteous donation intake, accurate sorting, and safe handling of items.

You will assist customers, operate donation-center equipment, and ensure receipts are provided for donors. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable daily duties within our community-focused organization.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Receives all donations promptly and courteously, and sorts items appropriately.
• Operates company equipment and ensures proper labeling and storage of donated goods.
• Creates manifests for shipping and transport of outgoing gaylords.
• Maintains a clean, safe donation center and reports hazards or incidents.
• Assists customers with unloading items and supports overall donor experience.
