Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Donation Center Associate to receive and sort donations, assist customers, and help maintain the donation area. The role requires strong customer service, ability to follow directions, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

On-site position with responsibilities from unloading to housekeeping, and adherence to safety policies. Training provided; background check may be required.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Receives all donations in an expedient, courteous manner and places items in the appropriate place.
• Operates company owned equipment.
• Sorts incoming donations by merchandise type and labels gaylords accordingly.
• Creates manifest for shipping and transport of outgoing gaylords.
• Assists customers with unloading furniture or other items.
• Cleans donation area, restrooms, and parking lot; ensures safety and cleanliness.
• Keeps donation center organized and reports hazards or injuries.
