Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Donation Attendant at the Powhatan ADC to receive, sort, and prepare donated goods for shipment. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include sorting donations, assisting with loading, and upholding all policies. The position may require evening or weekend shifts and occasional travel as needed by the ADC network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No previous experience required.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Associates designated as "floaters" will be required to have travel to multiple locations for work.
• Will accept a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service at all times.
• Pre-sorts and sorts donations as received.
• Safely and efficiently loads product for shipment, maintaining clean and safe working areas.
• Ensures that all organizational policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintains effective communication with the ADC Manager and Transportation team.
