Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Donation Processor to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for sale in our Retail stores. The role involves accelerating processing to meet production goals while following standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work at any Goodwill ADC within territory as needed.
• Must be 18+ to operate forklift (16–17 not allowed).

Responsibilities

• Always display a professional, patient, and 'people first' attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Adequately handle guest questions and resolve problems per standard operating procedures.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Communicate effectively with management when necessary.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions.
• Evaluate and navigate decisions effectively; promote teamwork.
• Maintain a neat, clean donor door area/ADC location.
• Adhere to safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
