Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring for a donation-goods processor to help prepare items for sale in our retail stores across the Griffin area. You will work in a fast-paced environment, sort donations, and assist drivers while delivering friendly service to customers and donors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Good oral and written English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18+ to operate forklift.

Responsibilities

• Display a professional, patient, people-first attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Handle guest questions and resolve problems following procedures.
• Sort donations into designated categories.
• Communicate with management when necessary.
• Follow training playbooks and work instructions.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Maintain donor door area in a neat, clean condition.
• Report safety hazards and injuries to management.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
