Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Michigan is seeking a Donation Attendant to support a fast-paced donor environment. This full-time role emphasizes friendly service, efficient donor greeting, and accurate processing of donations.

You will unload donations, issue receipts, track counts, and ensure donations are sorted for processing while delivering excellent customer service to all visitors.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors graciously and promptly within 10 seconds.
• Unload donations from vehicles and offer tax receipts to donors.
• Report an accurate daily donor count.
• Accurately sort and prepare donations for further processing.
• Provide world class customer service to all customers and donors.
