Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Michigan's Heartland is seeking a part-time Donation Attendant at our Okemos location. You will greet donors, transfer donations to the ADC, and help sort items for processing while maintaining a friendly public presence. Job requires lifting up to 50 pounds and basic paperwork in English.

Employees receive discounts and benefits, with a focus on community service and daily donations operations. Prior experience in retail or donation centers is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be able to read and write in English to complete appropriate paperwork daily.

Responsibilities

• Greet and provide friendly service to donors and assist in transferring items to the ADC.
• Sort and place donations in the appropriate containers.
• Remove clothing from bags and boxes and prepare items for processing.
• Open and close the ADC as scheduled and secure the area when leaving.
