Job summary

Goodwill of Greater Detroit, Michigan, is seeking a part-time donor attendant to greet and assist donors and to help speed donation processing. You will receive donations, issue receipts, and identify items for further processing in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role offers incentive pay based on store performance and requires the ability to work with others, follow guidelines, and pass a background check. Must be 16+ and available evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Any combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the job.
• Ability to work with others collaboratively to achieve a shared goal.
• Ability to work within established guidelines.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all donors.
• Receive and, as appropriate, politely decline donations from the public in accordance with established guidelines.
• Provide all donors with access to a receipt in accordance with established guidelines.
• Identify and sort donations for further processing in accordance with established guidelines.
• Other duties, as assigned.
