Job summary

Goodwill Industries of southeastern Michigan is seeking a friendly Donation Attendant to greet donors, unload donations, and provide receipts. You will report daily donor counts and help sort items for processing, while delivering excellent customer service to shoppers and donors.

This full-time position offers a steady forty-hour work week and benefits such as medical, dental, vision coverage, and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors graciously and promptly within 10 seconds.
• Unload donations from vehicles and offer tax receipts to donors.
• Report an accurate daily donor count.
• Accurately sort and prepare donations for further processing.
• Provide world class customer service to all customers and donors.
