Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking staff to greet customers and donors, receive donations, issue receipts, assist with loading items, and maintain an organized stockroom. The role requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance, plus basic computer skills and barcode scanning.

Candidates should have prior retail or stock handling experience and a courteous, helpful attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and barcode scanner knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
• Receive donations and issue receipts; assist customers with lifting items to/from vehicles.
• Sort donations into carts/bins and assess the quality of donations.
• Sort and price hard goods (wares).
• Keep production areas and store areas clean and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and respond calmly to emergencies.
