Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia in Virginia Beach is seeking a Donation Attendant to handle donations, provide excellent customer service, and support operations at the donation center.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, work evenings and weekends as needed, and follow safety policies. No prior experience is required; a high school diploma is preferred, and a background check will be completed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No previous experience required.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Associates designated as "floaters" may travel to multiple locations.
• Education and experience may be combined to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service at all times.
• Pre-sorts and sorts donations as received.
• Safely and efficiently loads product for shipment, maintaining clean and safe working areas.
• Ensures that all organizational policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintains effective communication with the ADC Manager and Transportation team.
