Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a part-time associate to assist customers with donated goods at our Virginia Beach facility. The role focuses on greeting donors, pre-sorting donations, and maintaining safe, organized processing areas.

Responsibilities include loading trailers, adhering to policies, and reporting any security concerns. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No previous experience required.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to customers.
• Assist customers with donations by greeting donors and unloading their vehicle.
• Accurately presort donations by category and label donations accordingly.
• Safely, efficiently and accurately load trailers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment for safety.
• Ensure security of company assets and report suspected theft.
• Adhere to department policies and procedures.
• Communicate with supervisor about problems in the donation area.
• Dress and personal hygiene standards per Goodwill policy.
• Exercise sound judgment when dealing with customers.
