Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley is seeking a store associate to lead a positive customer and brand experience, receiving donations, labeling items, and assisting shoppers. You will handle loading and unloading, maintain organized production and sales areas, and comply with safety rules.

The role requires excellent customer service, the ability to pass a forklift certification, and being 18 or older, with background check and possible drug screening where applicable.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to pass forklift certification.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers with outstanding service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Ensure a receipt is offered to each donor.
• Inquires about hazardous donations and provide disposal locations.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading furniture or items.
