Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley seeks a team member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience, accepting donations, labeling items, and assisting with loading and unloading furniture. The role requires strong customer service, safety awareness, and willingness to cross-train in other store positions.

Regular attendance and alignment with core values are expected. Starting pay is $15.15 per hour with comprehensive benefits after an eligibility period.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Labeling Gaylords correctly.
• Provide a receipt to donors for all donations.
• Inquire about hazardous items and guide disposal.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading furniture.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
• Follow safety rules and use equipment properly.
