Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona in Mesa, AZ is hiring to lead a positive customer and brand experience at our store. You will handle donations, label items, provide receipts, assist with loading, and keep production areas organized while following safety standards.

The role supports sales through excellent service, operates pallet jacks, and cross-trains in other store positions as needed. Starting pay is $15.15 per hour with a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and provide outstanding service.
• Label Gaylords correctly and issue receipts for donors.
• Inquire about hazards and direct proper disposal.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading and move merchandise as needed.
• Maintain production room and retail floor organization per standards.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker; conduct safety checks.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
