Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Donation Center Associate to receive donations, assist customers, and help unload furniture. The role operates company equipment and maintains donation area.

You will maintain safety, label merchandise, prepare manifests, and uphold Total Rewards benefits; must pass background and drug screen; starting pay $15.15 per hour; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receives all donations in an expedient, courteous manner and places items in the appropriate place.
• Operates company owned equipment.
• Sorts incoming donations based on general type of merchandise and labels gaylords accordingly.
• Creates manifest for shipping and transport of outgoing gaylords.
• Safeguards company property and reports theft or injuries.
• Assists customers with unloading furniture or other items and cleans donation area.
