Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Dallas in Allen, TX is seeking a polite donation attendant to greet customers, process donations, and issue receipts. You will help donors load items, maintain organization in the stockroom, and ensure a courteous, efficient shopping environment.

You will sort donations, price hard goods, follow safety guidelines, and support teammates as needed. The role requires strong English communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
• Receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts; assist customers with lifting items to/from vehicles.
• Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and assess donation quality.
• Sort and price hard goods (miscellaneous).
• Keep the production area clean and safe; maintain stockroom and store areas as directed.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and wear the required name badge and vest.
