Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas is seeking a Retail Donation Attendant (Full-Time) to manage donated goods at Store #43 Saginaw. You will greet donors, issue receipts, sort items per guidelines, and move items using basic handling equipment.

The role requires teamwork and strong communication to help keep donation areas organized. Flexibility to work 40 hours weekly with varying days; you will assist with store cleaning and other duties as needed, including opening availability across seven days a

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team.
• One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred.
• Ability to meet production quotas.
• Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment, tablets, receipt printer.
• Use pushcart, hand truck, pallet-jack, barrels, boxes; make decisions based on quality of donated products.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Accept donated goods from donors in a friendly and courteous manner and provide receipt.
• Sort donations according to set guidelines; track and record goods received; use material handling equipment to move/transport, and sort donations; maintain interior and exterior donation areas clean and organized; properly load and unload company trucks and trailers.
• Assist with all general cleaning functions of store; other duties as assigned. Open availability of schedule preferred (store open 7 days a week, 8 AM through 7 PM).
