Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Donation Attendant for Store Laskin Rd to assist donors, pre-sort donations, and ensure a clean, safe workspace. You will greet donors, help unload donations, and label items by category.

The role requires strong customer service, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. No prior experience is required; a background check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to all customers.
• Assist donors by greeting them and helping unload donations without damaging vehicles.
• Accurately presort donations by category and label accordingly.
• Safely load trailers.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment for safety.
• Report security or theft concerns to supervisor.
• Adhere to department policies and dress code.
• Exercise sound judgment in dealing with customers.
