Goodwill of Greater Washington is seeking donation attendants to warmly greet donors, unload donations, and provide excellent customer service. You will represent a valued community organization while helping donors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of previous work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic English for safety and communication.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external guests.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to all guests.
• Greets donors and safely unloads donations from vehicles.
• Accurately records donations.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Operates manual and/or power equipment as needed.
• Keeps donation area clean and debris-free.
• Completes donor receipts and provides copies.
• Sorts donated items into designated categories.
• Follows safety and security practices and reports hazards.
• Maintains a neat uniform and appearance.
• Assists with loading/unloading donations to company vehicles.
• Performs general housekeeping and other duties as directed.
