Job summary

Goodwill of Greater Washington is seeking donation attendants to greet donors, unload donations, record items, and maintain a clean donation area. You will provide excellent customer service and safely handle up to 50 pounds while following safety procedures.

The role supports a welcoming environment with teamwork, and may include operating equipment and assisting with general store duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Essential competencies include action orientation, customer focus, composure and time management.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Multilingual with proficiency in English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external guests.
• Greets donors and safely unloads donations from vehicles to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Accurately record donations and issue donor receipts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and operate manual or powered equipment as needed.
• Keep donation area clean and free of debris; follow safety and security practices.
