RLglobal is seeking a Domestic Logistics Specialist - Track & Trace in Birmingham, AL. You will manage a high volume of calls and emails to monitor shipment status, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes data entry, carrier compliance, and coordinating with Operations, Sales, and carriers to gather PODs, BOLs, and real-time updates. Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and clear communication are essential, along with fluency in English and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in track and trace, dispatching, carrier management, or logistics operations preferred.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and load boards preferred.
• Experience with modes: dry van, LTL, expedited, flatbed, oversized, refrigerated, intermodal.
• Strong communication and multitasking in fast-paced logistics.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to Operations and Sales teams including proactive tracking, documentation, BOL generation, and verification of load status and delivery integrity.
• Make a high volume of outbound calls to carriers to confirm shipment status, location updates, and delivery timelines.
• Provide ETA updates to customers and escalate service failures or delays to Operations and Sales teams.
• Ensure carrier compliance with tracking tools and platforms.
• Communicate clearly with clients, carriers, and peers regarding shipment progress, delays, and exceptions.
