Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a talented and motivated Domestic Customer Tracking Agent I to join our team to track and trace shipments with high accuracy. The team ensures that shipments are updated timely, troubleshoots service disruptions, and communicates service delays.

You will work daily with AIT field offices and our agent/carrier networks to ensure on-time performance, maintain accurate data, and deliver reliable customer service.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; associates preferred in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Minimum of 1 year Customer Service or Tracking experience in a freight forwarding environment.
• Prior AS400 experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of U.S. geography and airport codes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace shipments to ensure proper movement and delivery.
• Update shipments with current status and notes.
• Communicate daily with field offices and carrier networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve service disruptions.
• Maintain familiarity with special services and cost data entry.
• Answer departmental phone lines and emails.
• Cultivate relationships with agent/carrier networks.
