Job summary

Dog-E-Den Tarzana is seeking experienced and responsible Front Desk staff to join our busy dog care facility. The Front Desk is the first point of contact, delivering warm, knowledgeable service and guiding guests who entrust us with their dogs.

Responsibilities include checking in/out guests, processing transactions, sending daily report cards, and assisting with yard duties. We value reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service.
• Comfort handling all types of dogs in a humane manner.
• Flexible schedule including nights if necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout shifts.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Answer, record and process calls, messages, requests or concerns.
• Record guest preferences in the system.
• Check guests in and out, resolve late or disputed charges.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately.
• Send daily report cards to clients.
• Handle dogs on and off leash as needed.
• Ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
