Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Deputy NOSC Manager at Fort Belvoir, VA to lead 24/7 NOSC operations, ensure secure and reliable network infrastructure, and oversee incident response for a high-profile DoW contract.

The role requires 8+ years in network management, a TS/SCI clearance, and supervisory experience; on-site schedule 10 am–6 pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities to mentor engineers and partners across DoW components. This position emphasizes RMF/NIST compliance and performance optimization.

Qualifications

BA/BS or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant work, or Masters with 6+ years.
Minimum 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
Proven experience managing enterprise networks in a DoW or federal environment.
CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II equivalent certification, active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Network Oversight: 24/7 NOSC operations, continuous monitoring, incident response and issue resolution.
Team Leadership: supervise and mentor network engineers, admins, and analysts.
Incident Management: prioritize and resolve network incidents with stakeholders.
Cybersecurity Compliance: adhere to RMF and NIST standards across DoW systems.
Performance Optimization: analyze metrics to improve reliability and efficiency.
Reporting: provide status and performance reports to senior leadership and DoW.
Collaboration: work with DoW components, contractors, and vendors on modernization.
Training and Development: develop programs to maintain team readiness and proficiency.
Backfill shifts as needed.
