Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Technician for the SDA Operations Support Cell at Scott AFB, IL. The role requires DoD security clearance, 24/7 readiness, and hands-on experience with DISN technologies to monitor, diagnose, and restore services.

You will work in a fast-paced environment supporting critical DoD communications and network infrastructure. Responsibilities include ticketing, real-time fault analysis, incident coordination, and ensuring service restoration within SLAs.

Qualifications

DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification required at start date.
Ability to operate in a 24/7 environment and support global customers.
Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance or performance management.
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, DSN/DRSN, and security devices.
Understanding of network topologies and ability to isolate faults across DISN environments.

Responsibilities

Create and update tickets in Service Now and monitor events 24/7.
Analyze alarms, correlate faults, and identify root causes for rapid resolution.
Coordinate fault corrections with internal teams and external providers as needed.
Perform fault isolation, testing, and fault logging to guide repairs.
Restore networks and services and verify restoration against SLAs.
Provide 24/7 sustainment support and timely situational updates to leadership.
