Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site in Norfolk, VA as part of the Field Services team. The role focuses on desk-side support, troubleshooting and repairing IT devices, and timely ticket resolution.

Qualifications

HS diploma with 4+ years of prior relevant experience.
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher Certification.
Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, version 10.
Experience with HP Service Manager, Remedy, or similar ticketing software.
Basic network troubleshooting skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the resolution of customer tickets according to established Service Level Requirements (SLRs).
Ensure proper ticket-handling according to guidelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues including hardware and software.
Ensure tasks are completed within the timeline.
Troubleshoot and resolve local and networked devices and printers.
Assist other technicians in resolving complex issues.
