Job summary
Leidos in Norco, CA is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to provide desk-side IT support at a government site. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues and assist with network and printer support.
The role requires US citizenship and a DoD Secret Clearance, HS diploma with 5+ years of experience, and Security+ or higher certification. Collaborate with Field Services to keep Enterprise IT running smoothly.
Qualifications
- US citizen with DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- HS diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience; more education may substitute.
- Security+ or higher certification.
- Experience in IT Enterprise Operations and Windows OS.
- Experience with Service/Help Desk ticket systems (HP SM or Remedy).
- Basic network troubleshooting skills and strong customer service.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues including hardware and software.
- Assist junior technicians in resolving complex issues.
- Manage the resolution of customer tickets according to SLRs.
- Ensure requirements and guidelines are met within timelines.
- Assist with local and network printers/MFDs.
- Diagnose and resolve layer 1 network connection issues.
- Troubleshoot VoIP and VTC issues with other teams.
- Provide premier computer and network support to VIP and executive customers.
