Job summary

Leidos in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to join the Field Services team and support a government site. You will provide desk-side IT support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure timely ticket resolution.

Requirements include a HS diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience, US citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II Security+, Windows 10, and experience with HP Service Manager or Remedy. Pay is $24.00–$26.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 4+ years of prior relevant experience.
• US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, version 10.
• Experience with HP Service Manager, Remedy, or similar ticketing software.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage resolution of customer tickets according to SLRs.
• Ensure proper ticket handling according to guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Complete customer tasks within the set timelines.
• Troubleshoot local and networked MFDs, printers, and hardware.
• Assist other technicians in resolving complex issues.
