Job summary

CEDGE, INC. is seeking Help Desk Technician for Full Time in SAFB, IL. Provide desktop support for PCs, laptops, printers, and CAC readers, ensuring compliance with DoD STIGs and security tools.

You will configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade desktop platforms, maintain images, and document processes. An Active Secret Clearance and DoD 8570 IAT-II certification are required or substitutable interim clearances; Associate or Bachelor degrees preferred depending on level.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience (or 3 years for Intermediate; or 5+ years for Senior) with desktop support skills.
• Windows OS (Windows 7 and higher) and MacOS experience preferred.
• Experience with common desktop software (Office, Outlook, Acrobat, browsers, etc.).
• Experience configuring antivirus/anti-malware and end-point tools; VPN and remote access issues.
• Experience with DoD security tools and procedures (STIG, ACAS, eMASS).
• Experience using Remedy ticketing system.

Responsibilities

• Assist users with PC desktop and laptop problems, installations and removals.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops and peripherals.
• Perform desktop/workstation upgrades, moves, changes, and deinstallations.
• Test and maintain desktop images and baselines per DoD STIGs.
• Install and replace desktop peripherals including printers and CAC readers.
• Update desktop configurations and end-point product installations.
• Develop and maintain desktop technical documentation.
