Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC seeks a Desktop Support / Touch Labor Technician (Tier 2-3) to provide hands-on desktop, peripheral, and software support at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Responsibilities include imaging, STIG-compliant configuration, and relocation of end-user devices while maintaining security posture.

The role requires a SECRET clearance (Tier 3) or interim Secret to start and DoD 8140/8570.01-M CE cert within six months, with strong Windows/Linux/macOS experience and solid

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Active Secret clearance (Tier 3 / T3R); interim Secret required.
• DoD 8140 / 8570.01-M baseline certification relevant to role and CE cert within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, printers, and multi-function devices.
• Image systems with OS baseline and perform user data backup/restoration.
• Apply software and security updates, patches, CVEs, and STIG settings using government tools.
• Deliver, pick up, and relocate end-user devices at service desk and at user location.
• Support operating systems including Windows, Linux, UNIX, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Coordinate and verify vendor warranty repairs and report completed actions.
