Job summary

D&G Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Analyst (Systems Administrator) to support IGC production applications at Scott AFB, Illinois. The role focuses on troubleshooting, incident response, and user support for enterprise logistics systems used by DoD stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have a IT-related degree, relevant certifications, scripting experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. On-site shift work is required with opportunity to contribute to continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related technical field.
• Bachelor's degree with one of: CompTIA Cloud+, SSCP, CompTIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience supporting enterprise technologies such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support IGC production applications while responding to user incidents submitted through support tickets, email, phone, and in-person requests.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, application, and system issues in a timely manner.
• Provide technical guidance and user support for application functionality, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Test and evaluate new technologies to improve or enhance existing systems and processes.
• Monitor system health, performance, and usage, producing reports and recommendations as needed.
• Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, QA teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Document, track, and maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
• Maintain and update internal IT procedures, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in system maintenance activities and support continuous process improvements.
• Support additional technical and program requirements as assigned by the Program Manager.
