Specialty Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Help Desk Administrator to join our team supporting DoD operations at Joint Base MDL‑Lakehurst.

This role supports the Integrated Battlespace Simulation and Test Department and the RDT&E network at NAVAIR Lakehurst. Ideal candidates bring strong technical troubleshooting skills, familiarity with DoD cyber standards, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with mission‑critical systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT support experience, including 2+ years of troubleshooting and fault isolation.
• CompTIA Security+ required or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Must complete SAAR-N/PAA access documentation.
• Must meet SECNAV M-5239.2 and DoD 8140 baseline cyber workforce requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user IT support and help desk services.
• Create, manage, and resolve support tickets from start to finish.
• Troubleshoot Windows 11 workstation and Office 365/Teams issues.
• Perform network fault isolation and basic network troubleshooting.
• Support remote users with connectivity and system access issues.
• Apply system patches and assist with maintaining cybersecurity posture.
• Follow DISA STIGs and basic system-hardening standards.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cyber requirements and documentation processes.
