Job summary

D&G Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Analyst (Systems Administrator) to support the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) IGC program. This on-site role is based at Scott AFB, Illinois, with shift work and the possibility to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

You will troubleshoot production applications, support enterprise systems, document incidents, and collaborate with developers, QA, and other IT teams to keep mission-critical logistics tools running for DoD customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Alternative: one of the listed certifications: CompTIA Cloud+, SSCP, CompTIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python; experience supporting enterprise technologies such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support IGC production applications while responding to user incidents submitted through support tickets, email, phone, and in-person requests.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, application, and system issues in a timely manner.
• Provide technical guidance and user support for application functionality, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Test and evaluate new technologies to improve or enhance existing systems and processes.
• Monitor system health, performance, and usage, producing reports and recommendations as needed.
• Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, QA teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Document, track, and maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
• Maintain and update internal IT procedures, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in system maintenance activities and support continuous process improvements.
• Support additional technical and program requirements as assigned by the Program Manager.
