Job summary

RMantra Solutions is seeking a Configuration Management professional to manage CM plans and ensure accurate CMDB labeling at a DoD site. You will handle change requests in ServiceNow, perform periodic CI audits, and report findings to management. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

The role requires 1–3 years in configuration management, ITSM knowledge, and a DoD Secret clearance. On-site work at Scott AFB, Illinois is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of direct experience in Configuration Management or related IT field.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required to be considered.
• Basic understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and ServiceNow experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the configuration management plan and related processes across the DoD network.
• Support change management including requesting, evaluating, approving and implementing changes to CIs like servers and routers.
• Ensure CIs are labeled and identified in CMDB; document discrepancies and audit findings.
• Receive, track and analyze CRs in ServiceNow with proper documentation and approvals.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings with corrective recommendations.
• Develop and improve CM processes and ServiceNow dashboards.
