Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Configuration Manager to support SITEC 3 EOM at MacDill AFB in Florida. The role focuses on CMDB governance, CI population, and data quality across ServiceNow-based processes, aligning with CSDM and IT security requirements.

Qualifications

• Min 9 years with HS Diploma, 7 years with AS/AA degree, 5 years with BS/BA degree, 3 years with a MS/MA degree.
• A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Experience developing CMDB data quality strategies, health metrics, remediation workflows, and governance controls.
• Expertise in CI population, reconciliation, Discovery, Service Mapping, Import Sets, and IRE.
• Expertise applying CSDM to model business services, application services, and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience leading Change and Configuration Management, CCB activities, CI baselines, and impact analysis.
• Strong documentation, mentoring, and reporting skills supporting audits, inventory RMF/ATO, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CMDB data governance policies and CI lifecycle states from onboarding through retirement.
• Monitor CMDB Health metrics and improve completeness, compliance, and correctness.
• Investigate and remediate data quality defects, driving root-cause fixes at the data source.
• Align CI classes and relationships to the ServiceNow CSDM across domains.
• Partner with service owners to model business and application services and supporting infrastructure.
• Coordinate and validate CI population through ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and approved imports.
• Reconcile authoritative data from multiple sources into a single trusted CI record.
• Support Change Control Board by preparing CI baselines and documenting configuration changes.
• Partner with Change Management to ensure CI relationships and impact analysis are accurate for changes.
• Produce and maintain configuration management documentation and SOPs.
• Support RMF/ATO activities by ensuring CMDB reflects the accredited system boundary.
• Provide CI and dependency data supporting audit, inventory, and compliance reporting.
