Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support a DoD program with ITIL-aligned CM processes and CMDB tool administration.

You will deliver weekly CM updates, develop procedures and SOPs, train staff, and ensure documentation and compliance across deployment lifecycles in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Applicants must hold a current TS/SCI or ability to obtain SCI, 10 years of CM experience, and proficiency with ServiceNow CMDB and related tools.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or ability to obtain SCI
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on CMDB tool management with CMDB databases
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and ITIL-aligned processes

Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly CM updates on planning, item status, changes, and audits to customer and management
• Develop CM procedures, work instructions, and policy manuals for CM rigor
• Configure and maintain CM tools to support identification, control, reporting, release, and delivery
• Train team members on CM tools and processes
• Ensure CM and release activities documented and compliant with standards
• Improve hardware deployment processes with standardized CM procedures
• Adhere to customer policies in daily operations
• Contribute to safe, quality-focused operations and continuous improvement
