Job summary

NOVA Technologies in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Capture Manager to lead DoD-focused growth. You will shape opportunities, coordinate customer and industry engagement, develop capture plans, and drive proposal readiness, with a focus on DoD aircrew simulation and training.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–8 years in business development or capture management, plus experience with government contracting and the Shipley proposal method.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3–8 years of business development or capture management experience; equivalent military or related experience may substitute for education.
• Experience within the DoD aircrew simulation and training sector and knowledge of government contracting processes.
• Ability to develop capture strategies, engage customers, and drive proposal readiness.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies for assigned DoD domains and identify new opportunities.
• Qualify and mature opportunities, turning customer engagement into actionable pursuits and pipeline growth.
• Develop capture plans with win strategies, differentiators, teaming approaches, and milestones.
• Lead cross-functional capture and proposal teams; author compelling, compliant narratives and technical solutions.
• Architect cost-effective solutions with staffing, BOEs, and partner capabilities.
• Build and manage prime/subcontractor teaming strategies and negotiate favorable deal structures.
• Coordinate responses to solicitations and ensure alignment with customer priorities.
