Job summary

PMA Consultants Careers is seeking a Document Controller to lead and manage the organization’s document control framework across departments and projects. The role ensures integrity, accessibility, and compliance of critical regulatory documents while driving standardization and automation.

You will collaborate cross‑functionally, guide documentation standards, support audits, and optimize EDMS, metadata, and workflows with tools like Nintex or Power Automate as applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience with document control in regulated settings (ISO/FDA/GMP).
• Ability to configure EDMS workflows and support audits.
• Familiarity with metadata, taxonomies, and indexing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Leads document control projects and maintains lifecycle management.
• Mentors staff on standards, compliance, and best practices.
• Develops templates, vocabularies, and taxonomies for consistency.
• Maintains databases/repositories in Access/SQL/Oracle for storage and reporting.
• Manages version control and ensures latest approved documents are accessible.
• Interprets technical docs and CAD drawings for proper categorization.
• Implements metadata schemas to improve retrieval.
• Assesses and enhances EDMS and document control procedures.
• Ensures regulatory and internal policy compliance and supports audits.
• Implements access controls and secure handling per data policies.
