Challenge Manufacturing, a leading Tier 1 supplier in the automotive sector, seeks a Document Control Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of automotive documents. You will implement control processes, manage EDMS platforms, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 while coordinating with engineers, quality, and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, business administration, or related field.
• Typically 5+ years in document control, quality management, and automotive compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or equivalent automotive standards.
• Strong understanding of document lifecycle and EDMS tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement document control processes and procedures for creation, review, approval, distribution and archiving.
• Establish and maintain document control systems, including electronic document management systems (EDMS).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely document creation, review and approval.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and internal systems.
• Manage document retention schedules and legal/industry requirements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal documents accordingly.
• Troubleshoot issues in document management systems and processes.
• Provide training and support on document control processes and EDMS platforms.
