The Associate, Document Controls will provide clerical support to all document management activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and accessibility throughout the project lifecycle, and interfacing with operations. This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining document control standards including carrying tasks related to inputting documents and tracking metrics on CWLNG document review cycle times.
Key Accountabilities
- Understand, follow, and apply document control procedures.
- Verify documentation against our document control system (Aconex).
- Checkout, issue, and track documentation updates for projects and special programs.
- Support the document revision process to ensure proper procedures are followed for drawings and documentation updates.
- Track action items for documents and drawings distributed to project teams.
- Assist project teams with electronic document filing, organization, and retrieval.
- Maintain master documents, library documents, and associated hardcopy and digital files.
- Serve as a liaison with external parties when required.
- Utilize key software applications and internal resources effectively.
- Coordinate Foreign Printing (FP) and scanning of project drawings to ensure accurate and timely support for major capital projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Certificates, and Licenses:
- High school diploma required; associates degree or higher-level education preferred.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in Document Control
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with Aconex a plus
- Takes initiative, proactive and problem-solving attitude, flexible, team player
- Strong ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
