GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Dockmaster to lead dock activities, coordinate trailer movements, and ensure safe, timely facility operations.

You will partner with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to maintain high safety and service standards. In this hands-on role, you’ll guide yard flow, monitor conditions, and support site leadership while upholding 7S practices and escalation procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation-related environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to follow defined processes, safety standards and escalation protocols.
• Strong communication skills for daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 and Google Suite.

Responsabilités

• Champion operation safety and support dock-related equipment as required.
• Serve as the primary contact for loading/unloading dock activities and coordinate trailer movements.
• Manage and sequence docking, release, and yard flow following safety standards.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe issues per procedures.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams daily.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders and maintain customer service mindset.
• Ensure dock activities align with process guidelines and SWIs, completing tasks.
• Support dock and yard organization per 7S standards.
• Conduct regular visual inspections and identify risks or delays.
• Utilize Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite to track activity and document issues.
• Provide coverage and operational support to site leadership and leads as needed.
