Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator in Muskogee, OK. This hands-on leadership role serves as the primary contact for all dock activities, coordinating trailer movements and ensuring safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work closely with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams. A background in warehouse or dock operations, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Office 365/Google Suite are essential to succeed and support

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation environment
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation
• Working knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and varied terrain
• Follow defined processes, safety standards, and escalation protocols
• Strong communication skills for daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions
• Comfort using Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite applications

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and support of dock tools and equipment as required
• Serve as the primary contact for all loading/unloading dock activities and coordinate trailer movements
• Manage and sequence trailer docking, release, and yard flow while ensuring safety standards
• Monitor dock conditions and exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions are identified
• Collaborate daily with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams to prioritize tasks
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders to maintain service standards
• Ensure dock activities align with process guidelines, safety standards, and site SWIs
• Support dock and yard organization in line with 7S workplace principles
• Conduct regular visual inspections and identify risks, inefficiencies, or delays
• Use Office 365 and Google Suite to track activity, document issues, and share updates
• Provide coverage and operational support to site leadership and Lead peers as needed
