Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator in Pryor Creek, OK for an afternoon shift (Mon-Fri, 4:00pm–12:30am). You will serve as the primary contact for dock activities, coordinating trailer movements and ensuring safety, efficiency, and timely operations.

Youll collaborate with site ops, transportation, safety, and customer teams, uphold 7S standards, and use MS Office or Google Suite to track progress and document issues. Prior dock yard experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Working knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and varied terrain.
• Follow defined processes, safety standards, and escalation protocols.
• Strong communication with daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office 365 and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and dock-related equipment usage.
• Primary contact for loading/unloading dock activities and trailer movements.
• Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow per safety standards.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe situations.
• Collaborate with site ops, transportation, yard services, and customers.
• Communicate professionally and maintain customer-service mindset.
• Ensure dock activities align with process guidelines and SWIs.
• Support dock/yard organization per 7S standards.
• Conduct visual inspections and identify risks or delays.
• Use Office 365/Google Suite to track activity and document issues.
• Provide coverage to site leadership and lead peers as needed
