Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator to lead dock operations and ensure safe, efficient trailer movements across the facility.

You will partner with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to execute daily dock activities while modeling accountability and customer service excellence. This hands-on leadership role requires experience in warehouse or dock environments, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate loading/unloading, maintain yard

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and support dock equipment as required.
• Coordinate loading and unloading dock activities and trailer movements.
• Manage docking, yard flow, and ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe situations.
• Collaborate daily with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
