Qualifications

Experience in warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation settings.
Ability to coordinate dock/yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
Working knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain.
Strong adherence to safety standards and escalation processes.
Proven communication skills for internal and with customers.

Responsibilities

Lead dock and yard activities to ensure safe, efficient trailer movement.
Coordinate loading/unloading dock movements to support daily priorities.
Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow with attention to safety.
Monitor dock conditions and apply stop-work authority when needed.
Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams.
Communicate updates professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure activities align with process guidelines and site SWIs.
Support 7S workplace organization and daily inspections.
Document issues and track activity using Office 365/Google Suite.
Provide coverage and guidance to site leadership when required.
