Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is hiring a Yard & Dock Coordinator to lead dock activities, coordinate trailer movements, and ensure safe and efficient operations. You will work closely with site operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to execute daily dock tasks with accountability and a strong service orientation.

The role requires hands-on leadership, outdoor work in all weather, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience coordinating dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
Strong communication skills for daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and across terrain.
Familiarity with trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
Proven adherence to safety standards and escalation protocols.
Experience using Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

Coordinate dock and yard activities to support daily operational priorities.
Manage trailer movements, docking, release, and yard flow while following safety protocols.
Monitor dock conditions and exercise stop-work authority when needed.
Collaborate daily with site operations, transportation, and customer-facing teams.
Communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders professionally.
Ensure dock activities align with process guidelines and site SWIs.
