Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a Yard & Dock Coordinator to oversee dock activities, ensure safe and timely trailer movements, and partner with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to execute daily dock tasks.

The role is hands-on and requires strong leadership, clear communication, and strict adherence to safety standards and site procedures. You’ll monitor dock conditions, coordinate trailer docking, support yard flow, and provide coverage to site

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, dock, yard, or transportation environments.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in fast-paced operations.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety and coordinate loading/unloading dock activities.
• Serve as primary contact for trailer movements and yard flow.
• Monitor dock conditions and enforce stop-work authority when needed.
• Partner with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams.
• Ensure activities align with safety standards and site SWIs.
