Princess Cruises and Holland America Line seeks a Dock Representative in Alaska to support Guest Services. The role handles dock operations, confirms tour numbers, and ensures safe equipment staging for timely departures.

You will collaborate with vendors, Shore Excursion Managers, and ships' staff while upholding company policies and regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates bring one year of cruise-ship operations experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work a seasonally

Qualifications

• One year of experience with cruise ships from the port side of operations.
• Clear communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a cooperative relationship with local vendors and Shore Excursion Managers for ships serviced.
• Interact with guests and ship personnel professionally; confirm tour numbers on docks and ensure equipment is staged safely for on-time departures.
• Work with supervisors and managers to ensure ships' requests and bookings are reflected on the dispatch.
• Carry out responsibilities in accordance with company policies, objectives and applicable laws and regulations.
