Job summary

LiftOne seeks an experienced Dock and Door Road Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain loading dock equipment and doors. The role includes responsible vehicle maintenance and on-site customer service, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; tech school preferred.
• Must obtain welder certification within 30 days of hire.
• Welder apprentice level or 3 years welding experience required.
• Ability to read and understand safety regulations and instructions.
• Valid driver license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Identify the general problem based on customer concern and testing to locate the failure.
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently and verify equipment works properly.
• Travel to locations (customer sites, parts pickups) to address on-site needs.
• Perform repairs with customer approval and handle basic maintenance as needed.
• Process documentation at job completion; ensure parts are accounted for and repairs are itemized.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies; identify and order replacement parts.
